RAILROAD PARK

Railroad Park is not an official Alpine park, and it has not been improved or updated by BBPaRKs. However, it is a park worth noting on our website.

This property is actually owned by Union Pacific Railroad, and used to be an ignored and overgrown area of land right in the heart of Alpine. A few different groups have banded together and have developed it into a nice corner park for the community and tourists to enjoy. There is no guarantee that this park will stay for the long-term (Union Pacific has not entered into any agreement to keep it as  a park or even allow its development), however it has not stopped Alpine citizens from cultivating the property into a beautiful park. The park includes benches, shade, gardens, a railroad-themed painting as well as a sculpture and some walking paths.
