Kokernot is a municipal park that covers over 40 acres. It is the most popular park in Alpine, and is used daily. The park includes a dog park, skate park, swimming pool (only open in the summer), a playground, sandbox, benches, shade, water fountains, bathrooms, soccer and baseball fields, and walking paths.
City-wide celebrations are often held here including Fourth of July events, many families gather here for picnics and barbecues, and it is a popular place for birthday parties!

The large shaded pavilion can be rented out from the city for a minimal fee.
